According to research us Brits are seven times more likely to be moving home because of a change of job rather than to make a quick buck from the housing market according to this article in Property Reporter and from AA Mortgages.
The top reasons for moving are work, money (and more often than not, it's to free up money rather than making it!) and family - starting one, growing one, moving closer to them, schools etc. As we are sometimes lead to believe from reports, TV property shows and newspapers, not everyone is buying and selling to make a quick profit on a property transaction. This research goes to prove that a house is a home and there are other important factors over money.
