The Early Bird

With 2018 in full swing our Horsham office has been incredibly busy listing some fabulous homes across the area.  With applicant register levels also increasing, Tim Cattini, Manager of the Horsham Office, is expecting a busy first quarter with offers already coming in from motivated buyers looking to move before the Easter period.  Traditionally we see family buyers at this time of the year preparing for a move before the new school year, so if you have a four or five bedroom home within the Horsham area, Tim is recommending you start thinking about marketing before there is lots of competition on the market; a higher price is often achieved by being the early bird.  For more details and a confidential marketing appraisal, please call Tim on 01403 248222.

Over in our Pulborough office, Alex Travell, Assistant Manager has launched one of their ‘In The Know’ properties, a house which is being discreetly marketed for the owner. Alex commented ‘the launch of one of our ‘In The Know’ properties in a rural location has resulted in 14 viewings being booked without the property being marketed online and instead just relying on our extensive database of buyers looking for a property like this’. If you’d like to know more about our In The Know service or the homes we currently have listed as In The Know, please contact Alex on 01798 874033.

Having heard  many reports about the London property market suffering, Craig Bellas, Manager of our Storrington office, found it very interesting to see this first hand on his visit there last week. What surprised him the most was the amount of ‘for sale’ boards he passed. Craig says, ‘rarely did I see one that was sale agreed or sold’. He continues, ‘this to be honest, does fall in line with my expectations of the London market. The additional 3% stamp duty has really caused a market slow down and I hope that the Government do something to encourage more investment buyers to come back to the marketplace’. Looking at the local property market however, Craig is seeing that activity levels are at a record high for our Storrington team. His advice is if you're selling, do avoid the rush of Spring and come to the market now, to maximise the value of your current home and avoid the influx of properties. To discuss the local property market in more detail, please call Craig on 01903 742354.
