House prices since we won the World Cup!

We take a look at what has happened to house prices since the 1966 world cup that saw England win! As you can imagine, they have gone up since then, in fact they have gone up around 106 times according to this article on Property Reporter. The average house price, according to an online mortgage brokers research, has increased from £2006 to £211000 and at the same time, wages have only increased by a third of that rate - from £798 to £26500 - making it 3 times harder to get on to the property ladder!
