Following a recent article in The Mirror breaking down the key differences between the many different price indices, we wanted to also add to it by telling you why it's also good to get local advice too. You will know that you can't go a week without hearing or seeing a report, about the state of house prices in the UK. One will say it's up, one will say it's down and one will say there's no change! So who do you trust...? The answer is, to pay attention to who has issued it, as none of them are outright wrong, they are all just telling you different things. However, we always recommend that local knowledge, of what is actually happening in your town or region is also hugely important.
