Tribute to Guy Leonard

We were very sad to hear that Guy Leonard, the founder of GL & Co, passed away last week.  Guy had been battling cancer for many years and for a long time we thought that he really was getting the better of it but sadly that was not the case.  

Guy Leonard & Co began on 1 March 1992 in Gatley House in Storrington, with Cathy Moore, one of our Directors, starting on that very same day and Neil Moore our Managing Director, following suit a few months later.  Initially there was just the Storrington office, but we then expanded to Cordery House in Pulborough (now Dominos!).  We had by then grown out of the Gatley House office so moved to 17 High Street in Storrington, where we still reside!  And some years later we also relocated within Pulborough, from Cordery House to our current office in Pulborough House.

We are so glad that Guy's dream has continued for the last 30 years but very sad that he and his wife Mary weren't able to share in GL & Co's 30 year celebrations with us all last month.  Some of our staff have lovely stories from their time working with Guy, but we'd like to share a fitting tribute from Gary Shipton, Sussex Expres - please read it here .
