Neil Moore MD of GL & Co Estate Agents spent last weekend helping Amberley village primary school https://www.amberley.w-sussex.sch.uk/ to build a large garden and decked area for the children to use and learn in, the idea to take learning from the classroom to the garden and then back into the classroom.
Never afraid to get his hands dirty he and a few others from the local community, amongst other things, built raised flower beds from oak sleepers to assist the children to watch the activity of plants and vegetables growing in the flower beds from seeds to produce.
Amberley is a quintessential Sussex village situated in the lea of the South Downs, part of South Downs national park with a small population so the local school, shop and businesses need as much support as possible.
Neil talked about his day..."Ok yes, I gave up my time to do this but when else would I get to play with grown up toys like big cutting machines and drills’! I thoroughly enjoyed myself
We have also made a financial contribution to try and get the job completed for the children, I can’t wait to see the finish garden in this excellent village school."
