COVID 19 update and Viewing Guidelines

In light of step 4, effective 19/7/2021, of the Government Covid guidance regarding coming out of lockdown, we will continue to work with our staff and customers to ensure a safe environment for all of us. We are undertaking viewings and valuations, as well as welcoming you in to the office - all being done in a safe manner and with some guidance and recommendations. We can also continue working with solicitors to make sure your sale proceeds smoothly and assist our customers to a happy conclusion and as we all live locally, we can be relied upon and available to make your moving journey as stress free as possible.

We can carry out either virtual or physical valuations and viewings, as well as physical viewings (please see below for more information on this), but we will continue to follow Government guidance at all times.

Whatever the circumstances and guidelines in place, we can act swiftly and appropriately and look after our clients property needs.

 

COVID INFORMATION AND OUR CURRENT POLICY ON VIEWINGS AND VALUATIONS

As the Government has advised, under current guidelines, Estate Agents are allowed to continue to trade.  This is being done in a responsible manner and therefore we are working with our staff and customers to ensure a safe environment for all of us. 

To comply with best practices, we therefore respectfully ask you to comply with current GOV/NHS advice on wearing a mask, adhering to social distancing, cleanliness etc. and not attending appointments if you have any Covid 19 symptoms.  We also strongly recommend taking a Lateral Flow Test prior to viewing a property.

 

Covid 19 hasn’t gone away and as such, we will need to remain Covid alert but we have instigated plans to enable you to #movesafely during these times:

 

We are able to undertake a market appraisal of your property, which can be done via our online tool on this website, or a phone call to one of our experienced and knowledgeable staff.  We are also able to accept a video from you which will help us give a better valuation and then if you are happy for us to and if it is safe to do so, we can attend your property to value and discuss further.

 

We are still able to organise property viewings virtually or prhysically, preferably from proceedable customers.

 

Proceedable  Viewings where possible

If, after a live virtual viewing with our agent, the potential buyer is still keen to view & is in a proceedable position, i.e. their current property under offer or nothing to sell, we will arrange a physical viewing in line with our Social Distance Viewing procedures which can be seen here.  We also strongly recommend taking a Lateral Flow Test prior to viewing a property.

Will continue to review all our guidelines as time goes on and will discuss with vendors directly, anything that may affect viewings. 

IMPORTANT: Occupiers are advised to ensure all personal/valuable belongings are out of site and safely secured away. 

To keep social distancing, where possible, we may not be able to accompany the viewer in to every part of the property. Obviously, if anyone in your property develops Covid-19 related symptoms, please let us know immediately so we can pause viewings on your property.
