House price update

HOUSE PRICE REPORT RECORDS STRONG RISE

According to property website Rightmove, the average asking price for houses in England and Wales increased sharply in the four weeks to October 10. The average price is 230,184 pounds, 0.2 per cent higher than a year ago when the financial markets seized up. The largest increases are in London with demand for homes increasing upon expectations of high bonuses in the City. Outside London, most regions have undergone strong increases with properties staying on the market for less than 80 days, compared to 90 days a year ago.

So thats good news then!
