What's happening in the Private Rental Sector...?

The latest news from ARLA and other property industry experts and articles, is that average rent is up year on year, in virtually all parts of England and Wales, with the returns to landlords remaining competitive. This is good news for those with property to rent, but tenants may find this difficult although the demand from prospective tenants is still very much there!  We will await the Autumn budget to see if there are any opportunities to make the buy to let market more attractive to investors.

Some of the figures being quoted in a recent Property Wire article make interesting reading for anyone involved in the private rental sector and the latest PRS report gives more details and figures on performance in comparison to previous months/years.
